Taper Roller Bearings
Taper Roller Bearings, also known as taper rolling bearings, are a type of radial bearing with tapered raceways and tapered rollers within the raceways. The design of taper roller bearings allows them to handle both radial and axial loads in applications requiring high precision. They operate by transmitting motion and torque between two inclined surfaces.
Taper roller bearings can be categorized based on their contact angle into three types: standard angle, medium angle, and steep angle. In addition to double-row designs, there are also four-row taper rolling bearings. Generally, they use stamped steel cages, but large bearings can also utilize pin-type cages.
